Body Ecology Kefir Starter can be used to make kefir out of cow’s milk, goat’s milk, or the juice of young green coconuts. It contains the following beneficial bacteria: Lactococcus lactis, lactococcus cremoris, Lactococcus diacetyl lactis, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactobacillus Kefyr (thermophilic), Klyveromyces marxianus var. marxianus, and Saccharomyces unisporus.

Contains 6 packets which can be used an average of 7 times each. 6 packets can make up to 42 quarts. For prolonged shelf life, store in refridgerator.
